SRA regulatory status

Deadline Engine and its operator are not authorized or regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). Deadline Engine is a software product, not a legal service.

The reserved legal activities defined in section 12 of the Legal Services Act 2007, including the conduct of litigation, the exercise of rights of audience, reserved instrument activities, probate activities, notarial activities, and the administration of oaths, are not provided by Deadline Engine or its operator.

If you are looking for legal advice or representation in connection with a matter, you should consult an SRA-regulated solicitor or barrister.

If you are a solicitor or barrister using Deadline Engine, you remain solely responsible for your compliance with the SRA Handbook or the BSB Handbook for barristers, and your professional duties to your client.
